Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Fire Home (消防之家) at www.119zj.cn (“Site”). The Site follows the same positioning as the public Fire Home site at www.119zj.cn: fire maintenance, inspection, assessment, fire technical services, and industry knowledge—with regulations and standards, application documents, articles and topics, local standards and local rules, news, membership, publishing, and interaction (subject to what you use and what we actually provide). We process personal information only as needed for those services. We explain how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information below.

1. Who we are and scope Operator: Fire Home (www.119zj.cn). This Policy covers use of the Site through web pages and any future apps or mini-programs we may offer. If a specific product has its own privacy notice, that notice applies to that product and prevails where it conflicts with this Policy.

2. Information we may collect Depending on features you use, we may process: (a) Account and identity: nickname, email, phone number, credentials, and profile details you choose to provide; (b) Usage and device: access times, pages viewed, approximate source, browser, language, device type, network environment, operational logs, and security-related records needed to protect the service; (c) Content you submit: text, images, or other materials you post in topics, comments, or submissions; (d) Communications: contact details and message records when you subscribe to notices or contact us. We do not ask for information unrelated to the service. Sensitive personal information will be handled only where permitted by law and with appropriate safeguards (and, where required, separate consent).

3. How we use information We use information to provide, maintain, and improve the Site; authenticate users; detect fraud and abuse; send service or security notices and industry updates you subscribe to (you may opt out where offered); conduct aggregated or de-identified analytics; and comply with legal requests from regulators or courts.

4. Cookies and similar technologies We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, or maintain sessions. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may limit certain features.

5. Sharing, transfer, and disclosure We do not sell your personal information. We may share or entrust processing to service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics, security) who must protect data under contract and this Policy. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or asset transfer where the successor continues to honor this Policy.

6. Cross-border transfers Our servers are primarily located in mainland China. If personal information must be transferred abroad, we will comply with applicable laws (e.g., security assessment, standard contracts, or consent as required) and inform you as the law requires.

7. Retention and security We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (access controls, encryption where appropriate, audits) to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. If a security incident occurs, we will take remedial steps and may notify you as required by law.

8. Your rights Subject to applicable law, you may request access, copies, correction, supplementation, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent, and account closure where applicable. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any refusal. You may exercise rights through account settings or by contacting us as described on the Site.

9. Children If you are under 14, please use the Site with a guardian and ensure the guardian has read this Policy. We process minors’ information only where permitted by law and with guardian consent when required.

10. Updates We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Site with an effective date. Material changes may be highlighted; continued use after updates may constitute acceptance.

11. Contact For questions, complaints, or requests about this Policy or your personal information, please use the contact methods published on the Site. We will verify your identity where appropriate before responding.

Note: This Policy is intended to describe our practices in good faith. For regulated or high-risk deployments, consult qualified counsel before launch.
